Canada and Ontario Allocate US$736 Million-Equivalent to Ring of Fire Road Infrastructure

Under the C$8.7 billion (approximately US$6.4 billion) industrial-support package announced on 21 October, C$1 billion (approximately US$736 million) is earmarked for road infrastructure serving Ontario’s Ring of Fire region. The wider package also targets steel, automotive and critical-mineral supply chains; infrastructure developers and project teams can explore engineering simulations, project monitoring and logistics analytics, while HPC can provide computing support priced according to technical requirements.
