Serbia Establishes a Framework for Its CERN-Linked Tier-1 Computing Centre

A government decision dated 15 October and published on 16 October established a working group to coordinate the CERN-linked Tier-1 computing centre at the State Data Centre in Kragujevac; the development was reported on 19 October. The facility is intended to support international scientific computing, but the reviewed report did not disclose a consolidated project budget. Technology firms and research organisations can contact HPC for a quotation on high-performance computing planning, data architecture and performance analytics.
